MRN

Here is something I think MOSTLY Everyone missed. It's in the start of the trailer - "It (Celebration) only happens every 90th year".. Just take a second and think about that sentence. This means.. so, so, so much. Trailer (with correct time) : https://youtu.be/I0UWIya-O0s?t=12 After the "Midsummer" Celebration. - Even if Christian's baby was born, that baby will be 90 years during the next "celebration" . Most possibly dead before that. Which I think it is the most essential part. The cycle of celebration is never relived by anyone we see again, and its aftermath. What happens in the end? Dani gets anew family. What I find funny to think about is what if.. What if - Dani's boyfriend killed her parents and sister? Two things didn't match for me 1. Bipolar is a terrible thing but it often never leads to murder and suicide, as there is treatment. 2. Dani's sister room looked to "clean". 3. Dani's parents house looked like someone committed a very strategic murder and not someone execute who suffers from emotional tremor and manic depression. What if Christian killed Dani's family and his friends knew about it and helped. Mark reaction to the elder killing themselves was.. "Oh, did I miss that". Christian and Josh reaction was -- we need to write a thesis on this! Josh commits sacrilege one night without any remorse at all. These people was NOT alright form the start. What if Ingemar and Pelle brought these people here, to get rid of horrible criminals and murders? Justice combined with Nordic traditions. Another thing, "We only do this every 90th year". If Ätestuppan also was included that means "elders" aren't just 72 years but 72 years and older - and two people of them CHOOSE themselves to jump. This makes much more sense. We all know age can take its toll in many shapes. Perhaps the elder woman and man had incurable diseases that caused them pain and illness. We don't know the pre-story of the characters or reasons surrounding the celebration. We only know what Pelle says in the trailer - "It (Celebration) only happens every 90th year".
